Care shaped by experience, listening, and collaboration.
The Myo Project helps children and adults explore the connections between breathing, oral posture, and function.

The story
The story behind The Myo Project.
My journey into airway-focused care began while I was an airway-focused clinician working with airway-focused practices in Virginia and Texas. Becoming a mother of three girls, including navigating the NICU with two of my daughters, gave that work a deeper meaning. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to search for answers and connect the pieces of a complicated puzzle.
Those experiences inspired me to pursue specialized orofacial myofunctional therapy. I want to help families understand oral habits, breathing, and function, and offer practical, personalized guidance along the way.
As a deaf clinician, I bring a personal perspective on communication, accessibility, and the importance of helping people feel heard and understood. Today, I combine my clinical background with personalized myofunctional therapy and Craniosacral Fascial Therapy when appropriate. I value collaboration with other healthcare professionals and care that considers the whole picture.
My goal is not simply to provide exercises. It is to explain the why, support healthy habits, and help people feel less alone as they work toward better breathing, oral posture, and function.
The approach
Understand the why. Find your next step.
Care is tailored to the individual and may include exercises, habit development, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. When concerns call for assessment beyond my scope, appropriate next steps can be discussed.
Tailored to the individual
Exercises & habit development
Collaboration with providers
Care that considers the whole picture — and honest guidance about what may be needed next.
